Cleopatra’s Sisters, a group of young women on campus who celebrate diversity and their common heritages, along with the Black Student Union and Office of Multicultural Affairs would like to invite the members of Washington College to come together for a night of entertainment at The Apollo.
The event will be held in the Egg at 8 p.m. on April 22. This night will allow students to show their raw creativity and talent. If you are looking for a night of many laughs and lots of enjoyment, this is the place to be. Students can sign up to participate in this event by filling out an application in front of the OMA office, which is located on the first floor of the Casey Academic Center. If you are interested in participating please submit your application by April 16 or 19. We look forward to seeing you all at The Apollo.
The Cleopatra’s Sisters and the Office of Multicultural Affairs would also like to invite the students of WC to attend the step competition party at the back of the Cain Gym on April 23 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Come dance the night away with steppers in the upcoming competition. There will be a step teaser provided by the captain and co-captains of the competing teams. This event will celebrate the upcoming step competition at WC on April 26. In order to attend, you must be 17 or older with a valid state ID card or college ID (no exceptions). The cost of this event will be $5 for non-WC students, and $2 for non-Cleopatra’s Sisters and members. The money raised will go to the hard working team which claims first place in the competition so come and spend time with DJ UNEEK and the steppers as we party and prepare for the upcoming competition. We hope that you will all come out to help support the teams in the step competition and we look forward to dancing all night long.
