This Week in Greek

While this week has remained relatively quiet for Greek Life on campus, the boys of Kappa Sigma held their bi-annual Pancakes for Prostates event on the morning of Nov. 6. The brothers raised over $1,300 from the event and served over 180 people. Kappa Sigma brother, Alex Hoffman said, “We hope to have even more people attend in the spring and raise even more money for Prostate Cancer Research.”

So far this semester, all Greeks should be proud of the amount of money each organization has managed to raise for various philanthropies, and the Greek community could not be any more thankful for all of the support the Washington College community has been in regards to our events. A perfect example of Greek success through philanthropy events can be seen through the final results of AOTT’s Walk of the Roses 5k walk/run. In the end, a total of 370 people participated in the 5k, the sisters were able to raise a whopping $6,646 from the entire event.
