Men’s Swimming Loses to F&M

On Nov. 19, the Shoremen took on Franklin & Marshall in Lancaster, PA. The Diplomats were able to down the Shoremen 119-57 in the Centennial Conference meet. The Shoremen are now 0-2 in Centennial Conference action.

The Shoremen were able to claim victory in the 100 breastroke. Junior Austin Auger finished with a time of 1:03.44 in the event. The Shoremen 200 freestyle team of Sophomore A.J. Feurer, Junior Nick Longworth, Junior Johnny Helenek and Senior Tim Beadell also claimed a first place finish with a time of 1:37.79.

In the 200 medley relay, Longworth, Auger, Beadell and Senior Matt Violette finished in second with a time of 1:44.38.

Longworth also came in second in the 100 backstroke in 57.52.

The Shoremen are in action Dec. 4 and 5 at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational.  Live Stats will be available during the meet at http://washingtoncollegesports.com.
