This year, the Shoremen have three graduating seniors: Tim Beadell, Ben Newman, and Matt Violette who were honored Saturday. Ben Newman commented that he would like to thank all of the families and fellow students who came to support the team. Newman said “the energy in the pool that day was unforgettable and being able to come away with a win on Senior Day was a perfect culmination to a lot of great memories in the building”.

“The win wouldn’t have been possible without every member of the team racing towards the collected goal of picking up a conference win at home and helping Timmy, Matty, and I ring the bell one final time” Newman said about the victory. Newman cites many talented athletes returning to the team and is confident of the team’s bright future next year.

The Shoremen are 2-8 overall, 1-5 in Centennial Conference action. The Shoremen will compete at the Centennial Conference Championships at Gettysburg Feb. 18-20.
