Editor-in-Chief
I have so many people to thank for my wonderful experience as Editor-in-Chief. So instead of listing off what I learned this year, I would like to dedicate my final editorial to thanking the people who made my tenure so incredible.
To Maegan, Lindsay, Emily, Katie T., Amanda W., Aubrey, Tim, Sarah, Paige, Grace, Leland, Katie M., Shannon, Gary, Amanda A., Emilee and Will—thank you all for being the best editorial staff I could have asked for.
To Melissa McIntire, The Elm’s advisor, thank you for your guidance, kind words, support and patience.
To Kate Bursick, Professor Jehanne Dubrow and Professor Corey Olsen, who comprised the Board of Publications this year and have worked so hard to make The Elm the best publication it could be.
To Meredith and John, thank you for being there when I needed you and guiding me during my first few years on the paper.
I’m so lucky: my best friends are also my suitemates. Katie, Virginia and Sarah, thank you for listening to my rants, celebrating every milestone with me and providing escape when I needed it.
Dylan, thank you for always believing me and building me up when I’m so determined to knock myself down.
And to my amazing family. Mom, Dad and Jo, your support means the world. I love you.
