Photo by Katie DespeauxThe Kappa Sigs hosted a volleyball tournament on Friday Sept. 6. Teams of four played against one another while the Kappa Sigs brothers refereed. The brothers were kind enough to grill hotdogs and hamburgers for participants and spectators. Everyone in attendance had a great time.
- The PanHellenic council hosted the “Meet the Greeks” for interested female students. There were three rounds of girls that visited each house and met the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Omicron Pi, and Zeta Tau Alpha. Each sorority welcomed the groups into their homes and explained the different aspects of their sisterhood to the potential new members.
- The fraternities have started their Fall Rush as of Sunday Sept. 8. Interested upper classmen are meeting the brothers of Kappa Alpha, Kappa Sigma, Phi Delta Theta, and Theta Chi this week. Formal bids will be delivered to the potential new members towards the end of the week.
- The sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi invited everyone to their event, “Chill Out with AOII.” Students stopped by Martha Washington’s Square this past Wednesday to get a free Popsicle and chat with the sisters.
- The sisters of Alpha Omicron Pi and the brothers of Phi Delta Theta would also like to invite anyone who is interested in joining Greek Life for a picnic behind Cecil House on the patio Saturday, Sept. 28 from 12-3. There will be plenty of grilled food, games, and fun.
