Looking For the Best Pizza in Chestertown?

As broke college students, pizza is a necessity, especially on the weekends, however, eating in the dining hall can get old and sometimes it is nice to have a change of pace. There are five places in Chestertown where you can get pizza. This week, I tried all of them so you know what to expect when going to these restaurants.
Procolino’s
The staff here is so friendly and the restaurant is very well kept. Before you eat your pizza, be sure to order garlic knots. Each order has eight knots and comes with marina sauce, then is topped with cheese. They are the perfect appetizer. Next is the pizza. All of the pizzas at Proc’s have a glorious amount of cheese on them. The crust is crispy around the edges and the sauce is so flavorful. The slices are very generous in portion and one slice is enough to fill you up. Proocolino’s is a great place to hang out with friends and just have a good time.

Luisa’s
Classy, but casual, Luisa’s uses nothing but the best ingredients and has special craft pizzas on Monday through Friday. The craft pizzas are a little pricey and range from $11-18, but they are completely worth it. The four formaggi is a light crust pizza with sharp provolone, fontina, fresh mozzarella, and parmigiano. This pairs really well with a Caesar salad or a cup of cream of crab soup, however, if you aren’t a fan of craft pizzas, they have many other favorites. If you are going out for a date night, but still want pizza or anything Italian, Luisa’s is the place.

Dominos
Dominos may be a chain, but it is perfect for college game day, birthday parties, and late night munchies. Start off with some barbecue bacon chicken or cheesy bread, eat your pizza, and then finish your meal with a marbled cookie brownie. If you don’t finish your pizza, you can always put it in the fridge and eat it later. Some people like to save it and eat it cold. No matter your preference, it is still quite tasty. Their pizzas are cheesy, but they do have a lot of sauce on them. Luckily, you can customize any pizza to fit your preference! Also, they allow you to order online, which is really convenient.

Pizza Hut
Pizza Hut is also a famous pizza chain. They have an excellent Original Pan Crust Pizza. The crust on this pizza is light and fluffy. There is a very, very light layer of sauce, which may not seem like much, but you can still taste it. The cheese on the pizzas at Pizza Hut runs down the sides of the slices. It is a beautiful sight, but still not as satisfying as when you pull a slice out and the cheese stretches out. Pizza Hut also offers online ordering.

Milano’s
Milano’s is a mixture of Dominos and Pizza Hut. Their pizzas have a fluffy crust similar to that of Pizza Hut, but their cheese and sauce mirror that of Dominos. So it must be a match made in heaven, right? Milano’s also has mozzarella sticks that make a great starter for their pizzas. Like Pizza Hut and Dominos, Milano’s offers online ordering, and if you sign up for their newsletter, you can get ten percent off of your first online order.
