New Business:
TANGO, a sister organization of EROS, sought to be named a new club on campus. The club aims to provide an educational environment for learning more about gender issues and provide a safe space for students. The club was an interest group last year. It was approved as a club on campus.
SGA requested that $2500 be allocated to four different purchases. A breakdown is: t-shirts for Lead Like a Woman, $1294; polos for SGA staff members, $225; ACUI membership, $750; quesadilla kitchen open house, $200; rebranding two old Safe Ride vans, $2000. Safe Ride rebranding fails, the other purchases pass.

Senatorial Open Forum:
Environmental Committee has talked about how some of the Blue Box lights don’t work. They have electricity, but do not send out signals.
Non-Senatorial Open Forum:
Sarah Feyerherm and Candace Wannamaker presented a proposal about new Executive Board compensation. The new pay structure, based off a formula, would have pay rates at:
President: $2280, 15 hours a week
Vice President: $1728, 10 hours a week
Honor Board Chair and Financial Controller: $2220
Parliamentarian, Chief of Staff, Director of Communication and Office Management, Secretary of Environment, Secretary of Diversity, Secretary of Service: $1400
Director of Student Services & Campus Properties, Secretaries of Social Life and Academics: $1680
They can be paid overtime.
This proposal will be voted on by the Senate and the change can be implemented at any time, but was presented to the Senate to get feedback first.
SGA is now fully staffed and will be working on submitting a new platform and mission statement.
