Fashion is a great way to express yourself. What you wear can say a lot about you: how you’re feeling, what you’re interested in, and if your alarm didn’t go off in time for class that morning.

Sophomore Meg Klink has always been passionate about fashion. In this spring look, she combines a graphic tee with a statement belt and blazer.

Blazer: Vintage Ralph Lauren

Shirt: Urban Outfitters

Belt: Gucci

Necklace: Free People

Pants: Forever 21

Shoes: Aldo

“This is a look I love for a day out in the city,” Klink said. “Since I spend a lot of time in DC and NYC, I have picked up a lot of tricks on how to dress up a casual outfit. Adding a statement piece like the belt adds some style to a typically casual outfit.”

Klink particularly loves the blazer because it mimics the image of Cher from “Clueless” on her t-shirt. Her blazer from Ralph Lauren is her favorite piece in the outfit because “it’s something no one I know has, and it has sentimental value since it belonged to a family member,” Klink said.  As seen in her outfit, Klink believes it is important to express yourself and wear whatever you think is stylish and comfortable. For Klink, fashion is her “art,” and she strives to be true to herself as much as possible.
