In the Sept. 20 issue of The Elm, the article “Kohl Gallery Exhibit Confronts Issues of Identity and Ownership,” incorrectly stated that Amber Robles-Gordon looked up to Henrietta Lacks growing up. Robles-Gordon said she was exposed to information regarding the HeLa cells and Mrs. Lacks’ life in either a news broadcast or an article about her life, which led her to further investigate and come across “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot.
