Holi, a Hindu festival celebrating the arrival of spring, was recognized on campus
with a bonfire on Wednesday, March 20, at the firepit next to the Fraternity quad,
pictured below. While gathered around the fire, students enjoyed Indian samosas,
pictured above, as well as other snacks, drinks, and stories. Also known as the
“Festival of Colors,” the celebration of Holi continued into Thursday, where students
manning a table in Hodson Hall decorated their friends’ faces with colored
chalk.
