This past Saturday, the Student Environmental Alliance hosted the annual move-in market in Martha Washington Square.
The free market gives away donated goods from the previous academic year in search of a new home with current students. Students were able to find a variety of items for cooking, laundry, and desk purposes.
After the market was done for the day, SEA members drove the unclaimed items to second-hand stores, such as a Goodwill in Delaware, to find reuse elsewhere.
The SEA hosts this market annually, but they also are a group of students whose mission is to advocate and educate the campus community about waste reduction and the R4: reduce, reuse, repurpose, recycle.
They are also known for their awesome recycling efforts, producing a new plastic bench for the campus.
Great work, SEA.
