Future Plans: “I really want to work in advocating for equitable access to technology here in the US, and also hopefully continue teaching dance for a little while.”

She is also a member of Dance Club, Sho’Troupe, Cater Society, Omicron Delta Kappa. She is also a student worker for the Alumni House and a Peer Mentor Leader.
Internship(s): “For my freshman year, I was able to intern in Admissions as the communications intern. It was a really cool opportunity to see all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into getting students to come here.”
Favorite WC Tradition: “I’m a huge fan of Birthday Ball, it’s always really cool seeing all the students come out and celebrate, joined by staff, faculty, and alumni, and who doesn’t like a good opportunity to dress up?”
Favorite Spot in Chestertown: “Wilmer Park — it’s so beautiful out there by the water and it’s always so relaxing.”
Favorite Spot On-Campus: “My favorite spot has become the SGA Office. I’m so productive in there and it’s a great collaborative space.”
Fun Facts: “I teach dance classes at my studio back home throughout the week, I’m a HUGE Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise fan, and I toured WC when I was like 10 years old because I came to a Dance Festival here and I fell in love with it.”
Most Important Thing I’ve Learned At WC: “I think I’ve really learned how important it is to create meaningful connections. I’ve met so many amazing people here at WC between staff, faculty, and students. The people that I’ve met have inspired me to be my best and try new things and I’m so thankful for that. Through that, I’ve learned to never pass up an opportunity to meet or talk to someone new.”
Advice for Future Classes: “Never give up. Things will get hard sometimes but the growth that you get from continuing to push through even the toughest of times will be undeniably rewarding. Another thing — it’s okay to not know what you’re doing with your life, honestly not a lot of us do. Everything will work out, even if it doesn’t feel like it sometimes.”
