WC Athletics welcomes four new members to the Athletic Hall of Fame

This Saturday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at the Boathouse, four new athletic alumni were inducted into the Washington College Hall of Fame.

First was Chris Brandy ‘90, an alumnus of the Men’s Basketball Program at Washington College.  During his time at WC, he totaled 1,272 points, averaging 20.3 points per game, and helped the team accomplish a school-record 25 wins during the 1989-90 season.

Inducted second was Justin Daniel ‘01, an alumnus of the Men’s Soccer team.  During his time at WC, he ranked second in career points with 123, second in total goals, totaling 50, and third in assists, garnering 23 during his collegiate experience.

Additionally, Anna Germain Scozzafava ’03 of the Women’s Rowing team who participated in the College’s first ever All-American coxswain.  She was also one of only two All-Americans to emerge from the women’s rowing program at WC.

Lastly, Quincy Miles Samus ‘00 of the field hockey team of WC was also inducted on Saturday.  Samus was a three-time all-Centennial Conference first-team and All-American second-team player.  She also was a member of the team during their first ever conference win in 1996 and again in 1997.
