On Saturday, Feb. 22, the Student Events Board hosted the annual Birthday Ball, a celebration of George Washington’s birthday. Current students, alumni, faculty, staff, members from the Board of Visitors and Governors, and more coalesced in the field house of the Johnson Fitness Center. This year’s theme was the Roaring ’20s as a nod to the new decade. While it is not required to dress to theme, many attendees did their best with sparkly flapper dresses and top hats to complete their 1920s look.
