On Nov. 15, Washington College Transportation released an email reminding student that are planning to leave campus for the upcoming holiday week that all reservations for the Thanksgiving shuttle bus will need to be made before Friday, Nov. 19.
According to the email, students will receive an email notification confirming their reservation and driver information on Monday, Nov. 22.
If students did not request a seat on the return shuttle bus, they do not automatically have a reservation on the shuttle back to campus. It is strongly encouraged that students request a reservation to both leave and return as soon as possible.
According to the email, students must include the following information with their reservation: their name, College ID number, their cell phone number, the date and time of shuttle requested, destination, return shuttle location, and the date and time of return shuttle requested.
On Tuesday, Nov. 23, pick-up for the Thanksgiving shuttle will take place in front of the Casey Academic Center at 4 p.m. Planned drop-offs will be at Philadelphia, Pa., Wilmington, De., New Carrollton, Md., and Baltimore/Washington, D.C. International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Arrival to the Wilmington Train Station will be at approximately 5:15 p.m., with drop off located in front of the French Street Entrance. The shuttle will then arrive at Philadelphia Airport at approximately 6 p.m., with drop off located at Terminal C curbside. Arrival at the BWI Airport will be at approximately 5:30 p.m., with drop off located at Downstairs Door 11 Curb 2. Arrival at the New Carrollton Train Station will be at 6 p.m., with drop-off located in the Kiss and Ride area.
On Wednesday, Nov. 24, pick-up will be in front of the Casey Academic Center at 9 a.m. Arrival to the Wilmington Train Station will be at approximately 10:15 a.m. with drop off located in front of the French Street Entrance.
