End of Semester Shuttle Bus PSA

In preparation for the end of the 2021 fall semester, the Washington College Transportation Department released the dates, times, and destinations of the end-of-semester shuttles returning students home for the upcoming winter break.

According to the email sent on Nov. 30, as the included dates and times are the only times transportation is available to accommodate students, “space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis,” and students are encouraged to reserve their spot by close of business on Friday, Dec. 10.

To secure a seat, students must email transportation@washcoll.edu, with the subject line reading “End of Semester Shuttle Reservation,” according to the email. In the body of the email, students must then include the following information: their name, College ID number, the date of the shuttle they’re reserving, arrival location, airline, flight number (if applicable), and their cell phone number.

On Friday, Dec. 17, pick-up for the end-of-semester shuttle will take place in front of the Casey Academic Center at 4 p.m. Planned drop-offs will be at the airport in Philadelphia, Pa., the train station in Wilmington, De., the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the train station in New Carrollton, Md., and the Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia. Arrival to the Wilmington Train Station will be at approximately 5:15 p.m., with drop-off located in front of the French Street Entrance.
