BSU hosts Met Gala, theme “In the Nude”

The Black Student Union hosted their annual semester party on Friday, March 25 at 10 p.m. This year BSU took inspiration from the Met Gala, hosting their own in the skybox with the theme being “In the Nude.” According to “Vogue,” the Met Gala is referred to as “fashion’s biggest night out,” and its primary purpose is to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. BSU provided students with the opportunity to be involved in the planning process, allowing students to vote on factors such as location and catering on their Instagram stories. To fit the theme, students wore neutral colors such as brown, black, tan, and white, while many posed for photos in front of the nude balloon wall. Eventgoers could then hit the dance floor to party until the night came to an end.
