1. A Special Order of Business was motioned to swear in the new Class of 2026 officers. The motion was passed.
2. New business was motioned to discuss allocating $800 dollars to the Black Student Union for tote bags that will be customized at the Open Mic night on Oct. 6 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Tawes Theater. The allocation was approved.
3. New business was motioned on allocating $700 dollars to the Black Student Union to buy Chick-Fil-A at the men’s soccer game on Oct. 11. The allocation was approved.
4. New business was motioned on allocating $300 to SAAC to pay Justin Fitzpatrick for his cinematography job. The allocation was approved.
5. New business was motioned on allocating $40 dollars to SAAC on the cost of covering ribbons to give out to sports game attendees to promote mental health awareness. The allocation was approved.
6. New business motion to open discussion of Club B status to the Green Bandana Project. Status was granted.
7. Speaker of the Senate Nick Splendoria sent an email out with the letter of intent that BSU and SGA put together last year.
