The Shorewomen started the half off hot, with a shot from junior forward Reagan Longridge in the second minute that was blocked by defending Owls.
Senior midfielder Ellen Daly recorded a team-high three shots against Bryn Mawr, one of which was on target and blocked by the goalkeeper.
Longridge went on in the second half to score the game’s only goal during a penalty kick, sealing the game for the Shorewomen and making the score 1-0.

WC had a slow first half with the Bulldogs scoring in the twenty-fourth minute on just three shots.
After halftime, the Shorewomen came out with a vengance, recording 13 shots, more than double what they had in the first half (six).
In the sixty-seventh minute, junior midfielder Kayla Streett scored a goal to tie the game.
The Shorewomen turned back around in the seventy-first minute and scored another time, thanks to freshman midfielder Kaileigh Brady, assisted by Streett.
Time expired with the final score of 2-1 with the Shorewomen recording their fourth win of the season.
The team’s next game at home is Saturday, Sept. 30, against the Ursinus College Bears.
